Mann Inc is flying in with a new Tornado™ Exclusive, the Hawker Typhoon Mk IB, Reg. MR-U. This rollerball pen pays tribute to the formidable fighter that was famously known as “Sharky” from the painted teeth on the radiator. It was frequently flown by Flt. Lt. Harrison Taylor "Moose" Mossip, a decorated Canadian pilot known for his exceptionally aggressive combat style. His relentless ground attacks eventually won him the Distinguished Flying Cross and cemented the Typhoon’s fearsome reputation.
This Retro51 Tornado™ recreates the Typhoon’s look with acid-etched rivets and panels combined with printed camouflage, British Roundel, and its tail markings. The barrel is accented with a striking blue nose cone, matte black clip plus top section that includes its LE number of 400 pieces engraved on the top ring. Each pen comes packaged in a black tube with mini-print featuring art by Andy Hay.
