Retro 1951, Inc. offers a Limited One-Year Warranty on all Retro 51 writing instruments to the original consumer for a period of one year from the date of purchase with the purchased unit free of defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
Please note that this warranty is void if the pen has been damaged by accident, negligence, unauthorized service, or other factors not due to defects in materials or workmanship. It's important not to return the product to the retailer from whom it was purchased. Retro 51 will handle warranty claims directly.
If your pen requires warranty service (less than one year old) or Retro Care™* on an older model:
- Visit our Customer Service page. We can personally provide guidance on proper care and maintenance.
- We also have User Guides and other resources with step-by-steps on how to care for and maintain your writing tools.
- Use our Repair Service Form to submit a repair service request on your writing instrument. Any repair service request will be reviewed by our service department and we will then follow up with further instructions.
- We ask not to send in your product to Retro51 until instructed to do so by our customer service team.
You can be sure that in most cases we will get your pen back into writing mode and enjoy using it for years to come. However, It is important to acknowledge that there may be circumstances beyond our control that could affect the effectiveness of the repair for certain pens. These limitations can vary and are not limited to extensive damage or unavailability of specific parts. We want to assure you that we will maintain open communication with you throughout the process to find the most suitable solution for your pen.
