One Story, Three Perspectives

One Story, Three Perspectives

Pen Your Story This Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day isn’t always roses and reservations. Sometimes it’s scribbles in the margins, notes written on the fly, and thoughts that only make sense once the pen touches paper. It shows up in fragments. Half-finished thoughts. Ink that pauses mid-sentence.

One story.
Three perspectives.
All written by hand.

Her

(written in the margins, between errands and reminders)

She writes while waiting for the coffee to brew, pen balanced against the counter. The page smells faintly of citrus and candle wax. She reminds herself to pick the strawberries that aren’t bruised and the chocolate that feels earned. Her handwriting curves when she thinks about tonight. It slows when she wonders if she’s expecting too much. She underlines nothing, but circles a quick reminder to pick up some books at the library. Before closing the notebook, she adds one last line, almost too small to notice: I wonder what will happen tonight...

Him

(written fast, ink pressed deep into the paper)

His notes are direct. Straight lines. Minimal space between thoughts. He writes like he works—measuring, adjusting, solving. He calculates how much time he needs before preparing dinner. Somewhere between plans and precision, he writes something unexpected. Not a reminder. Not a measurement. Just a sentence meant for later—meant for his love.

You
(written in the moment)

You’re here now. The table is set. The noise of the day has faded, leaving space you didn’t know you needed. You reach for your pen because this feels like something worth recording. The way the room feels warmer than it should, as if it’s holding you back. The way time slows when no one is looking at the clock. You let the day settle where it belongs. Nothing is pressing. Nothing is missing. You write so you won’t forget how ordinary and extraordinary this moment is at the same time.

This is the story. Not the grand gesture. The ink still drying on the page. Every love story has more than one point of view. Every day has more than one page.

This Valentine’s Day, pick up a pen and Pen Your Story
because the moments that matter most are the ones you write by hand.
