James Peter Johnson es un artista y tallador tlingit galardonado, nacido y criado en Juneau, Alaska. Pertenece al clan Tlingit Ch'áak' Dakl'aweidi (Eagle Killerwhale). Su tatarabuelo fue el Jefe Gusht'eiheen (“Rociar la aleta dorsal”) de los Dakl'aweidi de Xutsnoowú Kwáan (Angoon, Alaska). Su bisabuelo fue el jefe Jimmy Johnson y su abuelo fue el jefe Peter Johnson, de quien lleva su nombre. Su fuerte historia ancestral lo llevó a dedicarse a la forma de arte tlingit. Su difunto padre, Franklin Johnson, fue el primero en animarlo a empezar a tallar. Johnson ha dedicado su vida a continuar con la forma de arte tlingit, honrando a sus antepasados a través de su trabajo. Shipping Information
We want to get your Retro 51® purchase to you as soon as possible. To achieve this, we utilize USPS® and UPS® for domestic shipments within the contiguous United States.
We are currently not shipping to US territories outside of the contiguous United States (*U.S. Territories include American Samoa, Guam, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, North Mariana Islands, Palau, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.).
International shipping is currently not available.
For orders over $75, Retro 51 offers free domestic standard shipping. Orders below $75 will be charged the carrier rate calculated at checkout. To view the shipping rate you may add items to your cart, and through the checkout process may see the different shipping methods and costs before placing an order. Carrier rate calculations vary, and are based on order size and destination of delivery.
Orders are typically processed within 4 business days*, after receiving your order confirmation email. *Please allow for additional production time for made-to-order products as we ensure exceptional quality and craftsmanship. If the order is placed after 12:00 PM CT, it may also need an extra business day for processing.
